Come on, Taiwan is not that cold, the lowest temperature is 8 degree the most, how come got so many people die from cold weather?

I wear t shirt with Bermuda and sandal in Chengdu when it was 5 degrees. But when strong wind comes I will run into the shops. Rotfl
