SG. Celebrations for S'pore’s 60th year of independence are time for nation to reflect on how it defied expectations, plan for future, said PM Lawrence Wong. Speaking at Team Nila Carnival on March 8, PM Wong said S'pore continues to overcome challenges through collective strength. But 60 years is a short time for a country & S'pore has much further to go, “So SG60 this year is a time for us to reflect on our journey, to give thks all, we have in S'pore to look ahead & consider what more we can do together,” he later added: “S'pore will face new challenges in road ahead. But I’m confident, we can overcome them together, if we stay strong and united.”
PM Wong said a united spirit can be seen in Team Nila, a volunteer movement led by national agency Sport S'pore (SportSG) to promote giving, citizen partnership & social cohesion through sport. He
paid tribute to group’s willingness to help S' poreans from all walks of life, pointing out how its members stepped up during Covid-19 pandemic to serve as safe distancing ambassadors, to distribute masks & hand sanitisers.

GE2025: Extensive changes to electoral boundaries due to population shifts; only 5 GRCs, 4 SMCs left intact. (Why's like this ahh?.) Changes were driven by voter growth & future housing developments in areas like Punggol, Tengah, Bukit Batok West, says Electora.
