If they take Kiev, there is a big risk of a bigger war in Europe.

Now, it looks like East and West Ukraine.

Typical of Russian war doctrine, they might say 1 thing & do something else

So many expert "analysts" thought Russia will go for Kyiv at the start

Turns out, they were just playing with Ukr forces in Kyiv whilst they surround Donbass

So, they might say do Donbass, but end up do Odessa

Every Russian unit (battalion tactical group), is an Artillery unit designed to fight one on one in open battlefields, just like in the Donbass

And that's the reason they got the Chechens to fight the close quarter urban warfare

Russian army is set up to fight large conventional Nato armies in the steppes (open grassland) which dominate Eastern Europe landscape

Close quarter Urban combat, they outsource to Chechens who are the world's best urban combat fighters
