SINGAPORE: To S'pore Democratic Party (SDP) will continue to extend its almost three-decade wait for a seat in parliament, after it lost in all four constituencies it contested for in this result on Sat of 3/5/2025 General Election.

In Sembawang West Single Member Constituency (SMC), party chief Chee Soon Juan lost to the People’s Action Party’s (PAP) Poh Li San after securing 46.81 per cent of the votes.

So what if CSJ makes it to parliament? Asking questions isn't what he wants to achieve. He is more ambitious than the WP. He wants to shape policies and he will never get anywhere near doing that.
