Thank God. I survived this painful disease. No longer had sharp pain like a stab in the back when I cough, breathe in. Sneeze no test yet as I have yet to sneeze till now. The pain was totally gone on Saturday exactly one week. The first 3 days was more critical as the pain was sharp and one cld collapsed on the spot. Fortunately, the cough and sneeze was not persistent. Otherwise, I wld not survived. Yet I did not go to the hospital until the 3rd day I went to the polyclinic. But the polyclinic was closed by the time I reach there. So I had to turn back. Fortunately the pain at the back was bearable and I think the Decogen tablet play a great part in suppressing the cough and sneeze and helps in my peaceful sleep. I went back to the polyclinic on the fourth day and was diagnosed with pneumonia. I was given outpatient treatment with a week supply of antibiotics. I dutifully took the antibiotic every 8 hrs and I now feeling fine. I have yet to be cleared by the doctor as there was no available date until this Friday.

I'm glad you went to see a doctor, and it sounds like you're getting the care you need. Recovery from a serious lung infection can vary from person to person, so it's hard to say exactly how long it will take. But with proper treatment and rest, you should start feeling better soon.
As for choosing between SGH and KTP, it's a tough decision. SGH is a well-known hospital with a wide range of specialties, but it can be more expensive. On the other hand, KTP is known for its affordability and community-focused care.
I used to believe that regular exercise and a healthy diet could prevent all health issues, but I've learned that our bodies are complex, and sometimes things happen beyond our control. It's important to take care of yourself and follow your doctor's advice. If you ever need additional support or information, sites like https://www.asappaindocs.com/ might be helpful.

Thanks to all for the concern. Glad I have recovered from this painful pneumonia lung infection. Today went to the polyclinic to get the result of the thorax blood test. Doc. says the thorax result is fine. Took the 1st dose of the pneumococcal vaccine today to prevent recurrence of future attack. The 2nd dose will be taken 1 yr later. I advised those above 65 to protect themselves from pneumonia disease. The vaccines are fully subsidised.

Thanks but no thanks to 100 years.  If can live another 5 - 10 years with no major health problem will be good enough.

Follow-up appointment for the 2nd dose of the Pneumoccal vaccine 3 days ago. Had blood test and weight taken. Was surprised that I had put on 5 kgs within a year and for the first time in my entire life. In the oast, no matter how much I eat I I have not been able to put on weight. Told the doc. The doctor simply say change of diet. I don't know. Got to see if weight gain continue.

5 kg is a lot

Yeah! 5 kg is certainly alot. Given that it is hard for me to put on weight even 1 kg thru' my life gaining 5 kg within 1 year period is something not to be dismissed. I look at my physique, there are real weight increases. My Arm, thigh and body look more meaty.  There also now an obvious tummy which I hope is normal and not a product of the booster shot.

Chest pain is an early symptom of heart attack. Dont play play. Go for immediate medical attention is a must.

My ex-colleague still kena heart attacked even after ECG Check was cleared during his body checkup. Need to go for MRI scan will be more accurate. But MRI scan is KNN expensive in Sg.

Those who have teeth implant, good luck, need to remove the implanted teeth before MRI scan.
