I encountered a similar instance yesterday along Pasir Ris Drive 3, near Elias Mall. A mother hen led her chicks across the road. I stopped and put on the hazard lights to let them cross. However, the mother decided to find more food on the road, causing a slight delay! Cars behind might not have seen what was going on...

It's an offence to pluck, cut or collect any plants, fruit, flowers, leaves, and maybe fallen ones too. The max fine is 5000. Not sure about wild chickens. After they're caught by the authorities, mostly will be fed to zoo animals

It is an offence to trap wildlife in S'pore so that should apply to all animals, including jungle fowl, wild boar, deer, pangolin etc.

If motorists run down chicken with chick's would they be fine. I suggest fine them $500 for not stopping their vehicle for the chicken family to cross the road safely. Who suggested to let chicken, otters run freely on singapore roads?
