Huh? I thought Gan Kim Yong going? Previously, for the 70 anniversary event was Wong Kan Seng.

Unlike Wong. who already retired when he attend the 2015 WW2 parade in China, Gan is the active DPM.
If DPM Gan is really attending this year China military parade, SG Gov is sending a clear signal of pivoting away from Pax-Americana order.

Could be because Singapore is sending a 'non-leader'? Only 26 countries are sending their leaders there. Other countries are represented by other office holders.
