The United States Air Force reportedly intends to withdraw its entire fleet of F-15 fighter jets based in Okinawa, Japan, by the end of next year.
They are replacing the F15 with F22 . They are only concern about the gap period for the replacement. F15 was made in 1972.

That is laughable - the US's F-15 are based in Japan without Japanese permission for decades. The irony Americans chose to move their fighters out not because Jap requested, but rather the Yanks are scared of China's DF missiles.
