In fact, it is very disgusting to be showcasing the history of another country through that country's antiques and various works of art in of all places your own museum. If they have nothing to show, I'd suggest they display Shakespeare's panty, and write a poem in Shakespearean English about the origin of the panty.
This is also why I was shocked to learn that Malaysians were so proud of Michelle Yeoh for winning an Oscar. A Malaysian award would have made sense tiobor? Why gush about an AMDK award and throw public funds putting up posters all over the streets when so many jhk don't have enough food to eat?

It was wrong to colonise other countries using sheer military force.
As the history goes, they did return India to your forefathers. And turned your motherland into a country with a huge number of English speakers, and that was/is necessary since Indian law is passed down from/modelled after English law.

Unless China says ..Ok you can stay forever provided you do not talk bad out us, dont declaire independance, call yourself as China, Taiwan and work with us ,, you can keep your system. Effectively CHina will have 1 country 3 systems...that might just work

Taiwanese and China had friendly talks when Deng Xiaoping was the Chairman. They even talked about unifying both countries with one China two system just like Hong Kong. What happened? Do U think UK will release HK to China if Xi Jinping was the Chairman then? Some said Deng Xiaoping was a con man but it was Xi who undo everything Deng did.
