China developer Evergrande posts losses for first half of the year

The losses have narrowed from 66B to 33B which is a 50% improvement but it will be hard for them to stay above water. Evergrande, as well as an affiliate Tianji Holdings, filed for Chapter 15 bankruptcy protection in a New York court 2 weeks ago.
