Chinese tradition wisdom has it that 兵马未动，粮草先行 (Before any military movement, food goes first).     

Stupid European now are in shortage of food, calamity is about to set in.   

They now blame China for storing too much food thus causing food shortage and calamity. They now demand China to open it's warehouse for Europeans to rob food.  

Typical robbers and pirates mentality.
