China housing has been falljng for sometime but the govg has already ring fence the kmpact on foanncial system abd rest of the economy.
They can easily pump it up by doing QE but they do not want property to drive the economy again.

Trading economics reported shrank 4%, better than 4.5% previous month

it is the Retail Sales and the Fixed Asset Investment that fall below consensus expectation that will affect the market. The Industrial Production has slowed but still above expectation for April.

QE is not effective in fighting deflation especially when there is a liquidity trap in which consumption and retail sales did not pick up with injection of money. They tried to stimulate the economy late last year; nothing much happened and the economy fell back after a brief take off in December 24. Trump's tariff in February 25 threw the whole stimulus efforts out.
The US QE in 2008 is totally different. The US QE focused on addressing strains in the banking system and easing credit conditions, As for te 2020 QE, it addressed the impact of Covid and it caused serious inflation.

It's a huge dampener on the construction industry.
Though property sector is now making up much less of the GDP growth, compared to previous years.
Another issue is property contributes to Deflation, and can lead to domestic economy vicious downward spiral
