now pokai liao, foreign funds, investment & factory shift out fast, lost jobs like crazy. enemy of the world, arrogant & greedy, no jobs, debt default, bank auction on housing loan default up 20000% recently, big developers bankrupt 1 by 1 due cant even pay loan interest now, uncompleted units all over now, 2nd hand unit almost no takers, S$10k can buy a 1200 sqft apartment with lift in many towns now, many more.

If there is a property over supply, this will definitely happen.. Singapore experienced that in 1990s (before Asia Financial Crisis) where some of those who bought resale back then, maybe only until recently then the price is back to their purchase price..
People don't buy not because they can't afford, but waiting for a better deal..
To those who want to own a property for staying this could be the best opportunity to get one at affordable price in a non prime area..
As for property prices in prime area, I doubt there will be price drop, in fact, the price might even go up (that's why property is always about location, location and location)..
