Cool

Chang'e 6 (CE6) has blast off from Moon's Apollo Crater at 7:38am BJS/SGT this morning after < 48 hours sampling activity.. It's ascent module carrying nearly 2kg of Moon rocks and sand has successfully return to lunar orbit...ready to dock with the orbiter/return module.

As in previous missions, the Chinese love to take pictures in space - Here the probe left behind a camera-rover which took this this image of  both the Lander, Ascent modules, the sampling robotic arm extended and an unfolded PRC flag...from the far-side of the Moon !

Cool
