A six-year-old girl and her parents have been shot after a basketball rolled into their neighbour’s yard.
Kinsley White sustained a wound to the face when an angry neighbour opened fire, after becoming enraged about the ball rolling on to his premises in Gaston County, North Carolina, at approximately 8pm on Tuesday

The girl’s father, William White, was critically injured while attempting to protect his daughter from the bullets and remained in hospital as of Wednesday night.
Her mother, Ashley Hilderbrand, was grazed by a bullet, but has since returned home with her daughter to recover.
