China's mistake was to retaliate against US alone

Talking about debts,  one got to know who owe what and if the debtors have the means to pay and at what interest rates. If the private company owes the banks using bank credits in full and cannot pay, that company would b in deep trouble.  Even worse if he borrowed from DAI YU LONG or other sources,  no matter how small is the sum borrowed.
After having said, debt is not a bad thing if one can use debt to earn more money.

Trading Economics:  In China, employed persons refer to who performed some work for one hour during the reference period.

US still need things from China to manufacture. The supply is too huge that only China can provide.

This is exactly what Trump wanted to do.. To him, over-reliance on China is a mistake. We will have to wait to see if he can succeed in what he is about to do. It may not be easy. As Trump said, somebody has to do it.

Now US can isolate China vs the rest.

Chjna should have gathered a group of countries to retaliate together.

Stupid comments.

If China not providing the leadership, how to get EU and Canada etc to follow suit?

The danger signs were there, yet many were not aware of them. Some have taken the danger sign for granted; some even defend that the danger sign is natural and inevitable. What will come next will shape our lives. Be prepared for it.

How will the US-China trade war end & what do these tariffs mean for you? Is China really “winning” & "taking over the world"? Or did President Trump just checkmate China?

Tempers are rising between the US and China over tariffs, Chinese products found no difficulty at ports on Friday as no extra tariff was charged be'cos there was a 'technical' glitch.

Trump administration exempted key consumer electronics from tariffs, easing strain on US tech firms during China trade war. Items like smartphones, laptops, and semiconductors—mostly imported from China—were spared, benefiting Apple, Dell, and Nvidia. Trump hinted at future semiconductor tariffs and a national security probe. Meanwhile, China restricted rare earth exports, threatening US military tech programs. Taiwan began tariff talks with the US, aiming to reduce levies. These moves underscore global tensions and growing concerns over supply chain vulnerabilities.

If you look at this GDP chart. The US has gained so much in the last few years. A cut of a few % would only mean setting back to a few years. Still maintaining some gain. For China,  it will b a different picture esp when they have done so much maintaining little GDP growth in the last few years. All the efforts will b gone plus plus who knows.

in the coming days lets see who will suffer more. There are many cheaper and greater alternative other than "Made in USA" product.
Think give another 1 or 2 decades, US maybe game over as a leader.
