For whatever reason,  is it a blessing in disguise or just bad news?  The EU members will vote in October on whether the EU Commission should propose multi-year tariffs after its investigation;  this news of record surplus will not help China in the EU's October voting.

True/  That news on 3 July was before the announcement of China surplus.  Even before yesterday,  there were talks about Germany to abstain in the October vote. The surplus announcement will weaken the abstained supports from EU members who hesitated.

Germans know their vehicle export depends on the Chinese market

Germans also know they have fallen behind the Chinese competitor in EV

So why blame China for being more competitive and selling more to the World that needs cheaper and green products ?

Last time we always hear EU wants to reduce carbon emission, plastic use, and use sustainable energy souce like solar and wind.

Now we see the same Westerns making U-turn because someone else can do better in than them in the move the Green industry.
