The same thing happened to Japan when they overproduced their cars and products in the 80s and attracted the attention of US lawmakers. What the Japanese did was to exercise voluntary export constraints to avoid the US and other countries imposing hefty tariffs on their products. They went on to export their goods without much problem after that. In the case of China, they're prepared to fight back.

Nobody can stop technology progress.
US is losing its reputation day by day.

Same thing as Japan? No I don't think so.
Japan produced TV sets and common things in existence for 100 years already.
China's newest products are many including AI cars, green and energy saving, solar products, etc.
I don't see that many AI cars in Singapore yet. They are different, not the same!
