Go for NVMe Gen 4 SSD. Now 1T.
$60++ can get it already. At least 10x faster than SATA3 SSD.

Not sure old computer can this piece.

So far, had bought a number of SSD. Now, waiting for the price to drop and the TB to increase to 2 TB.

If you don’t have PCIe 4 bus, check whether you have PCIe 3 bus. It is at least 7x faster than SATA3

For SSD as Internal Disk, sometimes need the Windows bootable USB to reformat the SSD to make it bootable. From there, you can proceed to do whatever things you wish.

$11.99 as 1 TB most likely it is not true. Reformat and you will see the actual storage space. Always look at the brand imprinted on the products with the official store.

Watch out. When the price is cheap and has no reviews or no sale, most likely they r fakes.

This is obviously fake. It is just a SATA SSD and not NVMe SSD

SATA is fast enough for normal home users lah.................i don't buy NVME becoz a lot of people say very hot..............and less reliable.............

the best SATA SSD now is the Crucial MX500...........

Don't need to go so fast. SSD is enough to last a few years. Some more it is very convenient.

So far, I think I know how this brand works. Waiting for them to go below $50 for each piece. Previously, they were lower in price if bought in bulk.

Yes. Unless one is copying or processing large files, it is not worth paying the premium to get an NVMe SSD drive. Most of our day-to-day work deals with small files. NVMe SSD has no obvious speed advantages just like one will not be able to go any faster when driving a car that stops and runs frequently in a 200 km/hr expressway. But present days, a lot of fake SATA SSDs also that come with only SD cards inside them.
