Chinese seafarers were coerced into leaving UK after war, Home Office admits
#1

After responding to calls to serve in the British merchant navy in the Battle of the Atlantic, about 2,000 Chinese seamen remained in Liverpool at the end of the war.

A significant number had married British women and had children with them in the final years of the war. After boarding ships docked in the Mersey bound for Shanghai, Hong Kong and Singapore, they were never seen by their families again.

UK has Chinese blood on its hand for very very long time.

It started after Britain became a drug pusher by selling large quantity of opium to China in 19th century..leading to 2 Opium wars and turning HK into a colony.

Then in 1965, UK (and US) gov was complicit in triggering over a million deaths in large scale anti-Chinese attacks and massacres in Indonesia under "anti Communist" justification, which lead to downfall of pro-China Sukarno to the rise of Suharto regime.

"An international panel of judges has declared that Indonesia committed crimes against humanity during the 1965–66 mass killings... Helped by Muslim organizations and paramilitary groups, the Indonesian army led a massive witch hunt targeting PKI members and sympathizers, suspected communists and leftists, as well as ethnic Chinese.

and that the U.S., the U.K. and Australia were complicit in the crimes."
