Many Singaporeans don't even get opportunity to study unis.

Even if get in we need to pay fees and supoort ourselves.

Govt tells us no need to get degree. Why then are scholarships given to foreigners to pursue degree when there is no need.?

Can someone answer these inconsistencies?

Why not give opportunities to Singaporeans instead of foreigners?

Many Singaporeans are capable of getting degrees but have no opportunities. If parent rich theg are sent overseas and can get a degree, but poorer Singaporeans don't have this chance.

Only fools would believe that a degree is unnecessary.
You don't need a degree only if you have special parents or you have special skills and abilities.
Peasants better acquire a degree as soon as possible.

They re treating us like we are fools.
Giving university places to foreigners to compete against us.

My results better than other friends  at that time but could not get into unis. Those friends parents well off so sens then to overseas uni to get degree

After that I went yo serve my NS as the pay was low ...and my family was poor After I completed NS I had to work at fast food restaurant to help support the family.

This thread is not about me lah.

It is abt better opportunity for Singaporeans today the chance of S'poreans going uni is less than half of other developed Asian countries. Yet we give many foreigners the opportunities that Singaporeans don't have.

My chance ia over already and no point revisiting. I have paid for many online courses to learn things myself such as AI and investing. That is good enough for me though I don't have paper qualifications.
