The authority never learnt their lessons. IS will not use the Causeway or Tuas checkpoint to escape. IS will swim across using rubbish bags. So no need to check so thoroughly.

Crocodiles can be seen routinely swimming in the sea between S'pore and JB though.

Unless one travels to JB from SG by car, there isn't a lot of shopping/groceries to bring home to justify the cost savings after braving the horrendous traffic jams.
