It must be unsettling for our young that in spite of studying and working hard, they are unlikely to exceed their parents' success as far as owning a private residence and car are concerned. In fact, many of my young colleagues are discouraged that they will probably never be able to upgrade out of the HDB estates they grew up in, or to buy that dream car they coveted since their teenage years.

In today world, studying hard does not grantee you anything, and SG youths dun work hard … the want work life balance. Receipt for success has no "work life balance" ingredient

My time, what I want I have to work for it.
Now, what they want, they ask why I don't have it?

Future of Spore is less clear as Sporeans edge against the rest

The problem is that the govt cries crocodile tears, pretending to care about the hardship that S'poreans suffer due to their policies

"I am not interested in picking up crumbs of compassion thrown from the table of someone who considers himself my master. I want the full menu of rights" - the late Bishop Desmond Tutu. He could very well be referring to the relationship between Pay And Pay and the citizens of S'pore.
