While I am not surprised that US continue to impose more tariffs on imports from China, I am puzzled that they imposed tariff on critical minerals.
Kind of strange for a nation trying to build up their manufacturing sector to impose tariffs on critical minerals.
Other stuff that I find it rather strange to impose tariffs on are "rubber medical and surgical gloves", "syringes and needles" and "natural graphite and permanent magnets". National security reasons?
