I just usually check the spot rate online first, then compare it to what the money changers offer. If the difference is small, I just go ahead and change.

I started comparing exchange rates daily because my remittances were adding up over time. I found that Infinity gives you updated rates quite fast, and it's been useful when I’m timing my transfers. Easy to check and less confusing than some other places I used before.
