They have the "Land Acquisition Act" to take your land and compensate you at their rate. .... Big Grin

6 sd and 9 walkup units in amber area were paid 45m for tel in 2015. if each sd can get 5m, and each walkup gets 1.6m, not bad although a bit low.

before that a friend's friend's newly bought freehold landed was acquired with very low compensation. everyday cried until no tears

At least PAP did not SERS the whole condo

Just only take half the carpark

That Old Folks Home was demolished to make way for MRT line, too

Why do we need 5 Mayors and 87 PAP Ministers?

The bigger danger is the cracks and sinking of the condo. When the MRT tunnelling is close, the condo won't be unscath. Loss of parking lots is secondary.
