Don't judge a book by its cover.
We Singaporeans are humble.

In Sg, cost of a condo will kill you, not to mention the cost of owning a car.

You have to compare apple with an apple. You cannot compare a melbourne apple with a Sg rotten orange.

One thing is for sure Melbourne is no longer the most liveable city anymore, prices of meat, veggies and other stuffs all go up by 30% or more.

For example the value meals at McDonald’s now cost $15-18  Confused

An egg tart or donut costs $5-6

One thing is for sure, cost of a landed in Sg is 5x or more than in Melbourne, Cost of a car in Sg is 5x or more than the cost in Melbourne. Cost of petrol in Sg is many times more than that in Melbourne. Cost of private medical in Sg is a few times more than in Melbourne..
What more do you want?

no need to get passport or applied for PR in another country

singapore too expansive... goto to what other city
go JB must get malaysia visa and passport and must get malaysia government approval to stay at their country

Singapore.

"8 Oct 2021 "A family of four, with parents, a pre-teen and a teenager, needs at least $6,426 a month to afford a basic standard of living, a study on household budgets has found.

A family of two, with a single parent and a toddler or pre-schooler, meanwhile, needs $3,218 a month.

But a substantial and concerning proportion of working households in Singapore - about 30 per cent - do not earn enough to meet these needs."

So, Singapore replaced Melbourne as the most liveable city is it?

Most importantly, Australia ranked world's No.12 ie well ahead of Singapore in happiness Index.

Here's One unhappy Singaporean keeps blaming the whole world.

Under WTO definition, Singapore is a 3rd world country today.

Maybe should compare with Timbuktu.

Pathetic.
Majority Singaporeans go Bangkok MBK just to buy "Lacoste T-shirt" and found the crocodile swam away after one wash.

Despite claiming to be one of the riches countries in the world, there are many Singaporeans working in Australia sending money frequently either to their parents or siblings in Singapore.

Especially, for Birthdays, CNY and other occasions.

You must have noticed that Oz govt depts and town councils including community services do not linked to any political party. And they treat everyone equally..

"From 2026, all principal members (mayors) must be elected directly by the people of the community. If a council has wards it may choose to have both area councillors and ward "
