Why is the outlook so bleak in S'pore under our overrated and overpaid Ministers? A staggering 95% of jobs created in 2023 and 89% in 2022 went to foreigners. A worrying 93% of respondents in the Edelman survey suffer from job loss anxiety in S'pore.

The above percentages do not mean hiring FTs and causing an equivalent number of locals to be unemployed. Rather it is the low TFR of 25 to 30 years ago coming back to bite us. 

Had we made babies 25 to 30 years ago, those FTs...would be our very own chewren doing the jobs 

We are short of locals at all levels whether it's dishwashers or doctors, whether it's the private sector or the civil service. 

Singapore is so dependent on foreigners nao but you can twist it and say jobs went to them.
