There used to be the DHL balloon near Bugis. It only went up and down though.

Spore is small, Marine Bay is even smaller, got so many office towers there, must be very careful when wind changes direction.

The hot air  balloon can only move vertically, cos there are robes attached to it, so that it cannot float away.... Rotfl

tried this in australia, its quite fun but tiring experience. have to wake up very early and driver picked us up to designated flying zone. 2-3 hrs to set up the balloon. wait for the stable wind then lift and fly from one point to another for about 45min to an hr, land and pack.

throughout the journey we are involve in helping from setting up the hot air balloon all the way till packed up.

I don't think SG experience will be the same. probably lift and land in within a specified area.

You can see from the photos that there are ropes attached to the basket, therefore the balloon can only move vertically upwards and downwards.....that spoils the fun of riding in the hot air balloon....... crying

yup you are right, probably just up 20mins then down no flying. I don't think the ticket will be cheap. depend on the carriage size, there is a limitation on the no of pax , plus with social distancing... I wonder how are the going to do that? maybe each side can only take 2 pax while the operator occupies the center of the carriage chamber.
