Customer: “It cost S$29.30, and this is what we received.” @ Michelin-starred restaurant chain
Singapore — After an order of a roast meat dish from a restaurant in the Crystal Jade chain, was delivered, Gilbert Cheah was shocked to find that the dish looked like leftovers.
Mr Cheah, a consultant for luxury markets and a digital TV host, posted a photo on his Facebook page of the dish. The Michelin one-starred chain is now owned by the Paris-based French chain LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy).
“My sister ordered a roasted meat combination dish from Crystal Jade Hong Kong Kitchen today for my Mom,” he wrote.
“It cost S$29.30, and this is what we received.”

In Hong Kong there was a dish that was made from leftovers and it was very popular. So much so that many restaurants opened just serving it...
That was about a few decades back, not sure if it's still around...

Yes, there is such a dish in Singapore, but don't know what they call it. It is left over from a wedding dinner function.....
