This is the risk in signing up for packages be it fitness club, nail club...
You get a special discount for upfront payment but the ability of the shop to give you the services for the duration you paid for depends on it being able to remain in business.
If it closes down what can you do? You are not a secured creditor. You rank pari passu with all other unsecured creditors. When everybody had been paid (or partially paid), only the owner's abalone is left for your to chew...
