If we categories the elderly into 5 groups

Especially those who don't have enough medisave, like self employed hawkers, driver's, etc. and have costly cronic illnesses. They rather die alone, than burden their children

Seeing doctor is one thing. Some elderly cannot walk or too sick to see their GP that could be 1 or 3 blocks away. Really lapses in MoH.

If there's any program for social or medical workers to regularly visit the old folkers, they'll hv to report their conditions to the authorities and that may likely trigger off more problems
