A total of 206 candidates will be vying for 92 seats across 32 constituencies, with the five-member Marine Parade-Braddell Heights Group Representation Constituency (GRC) seeing a walkover by the People's Action Party (PAP) team.

There will also be multi-cornered fights in three GRCs and two Single Member Constituencies (SMCs).

People’s Action Party, Ms Poh Li San.
Armed Forces helicopter pilot, current PAP Member of Parliament, has kept a lower profile in early campaign trail, but her incumbency, the PAP’s deep roots in area give her a significant advantage in ground support resources. In a GE packed with battleground Group Representation Constituencies & 3-cornered fights, the duel in Sembawang West stands out its clarity. With no distractions or tactical withdrawals needed, voters here face a clean, direct choice between two distinct visions for Singapore. Dr Chee, who has spent over two decades as an politics .

In 2020, PAP team was led by labour chief Ng Chee Meng, Dr Lam, Mr Amrin Amin & lawyer Raymond Lye. Mr Amrin and Mr Lye will not contest this election, while Mr Ng will stand in a Single Member Constituency - Jalan Kayu.
WP’s upset win then - by 52.12% - was the 2nd-closest result in that General Election, made Sengkang just 2nd-ever GRC to be won by an opposition party, after Aljunied GRC.
