This time, the covid cases for the past 2 weeks is already 20,000 or so.

Even with 2 pax restriction, it will take around 6 weeks to control the cases back to 100s.

Most ideal and will  likely work is for 1 pax dining.
Just eat  full, and scoot off with zero talking.
No spilling of aerosol, saliva ,viruses etc to others.

But F &B entrepreneurs ,hawkers etc and garrulous social activists will cry heaven and earth to reject it.

Our health care system failed the stress test. Time to really beef up if not how to open up economy.

Covid could be a blessing in disguise.

After this crisis, we will have a more robust system.

Don't think this will help much. Cause the spread is already done.

We expecting brilliant strategies and leadership from our Million $ ministers in time like this.

Not an easy situation but I thought we have rare talents in the gov blowing their horns all time... They should have long arrested the situation but looks like we are heading for the worst...

One thing clear is rat face minister OYK has lost it with his policies of pushing for his KPI (80% vac) by discriminating and ostracizing unvac citizens. For a simple fact the situation has worsen means whatever policies he pushed FAILED !!

To encourage people to dine in and eat at home instead of going outdoors, the authorities can perhaps consider subsidising food delivery charges.

Many retirees and seniors are just not prepared to pay for delivery, as a meal is highly inflated with additional charges.

If implemented, it can also boost the income of our delivery riders.

Win win for all. And help bring down Covid cases.

Cook at home lah. Since don't go out have plenty of time at home why cannot cook? If don't know how to cook, now's the best time to learn.

Not all people can cook. And some people just are not able to cook for innate reasons. Some also hate to cook and the concomitant wash ups.

Very frail and old seniors simply are not able to do so.
Cooking entails buying of ingredients....means still having to go to the market and  be exposed to  crowds.

To each his own really.

If all cook at home, then F&B also die.. No one buy from them, and also cannot get grant from govt.
