"In response to CNA's queries, a spokesperson for MFA said it is aware that one of its officers was charged in court.
"MFA expects all its staff to uphold the highest standards of conduct. The officer has been on no-pay leave while investigations were ongoing," said the spokesperson, adding that it is unable to comment further as the court case is ongoing."
Why no pay leave?

When the leaders only make policies that benefit themselves, they are not as honest as they make themselves out to be. In time, the citizens or subordinates will also mimic what their leaders do instead of what they say. Then it will be "monkey see, monkey do".

"
Is an accomplice a person who helps another commit a crime?
accomplice, in law, a person who becomes equally guilty in the crime of another by knowingly and voluntarily aiding the other to commit the offense.
An accomplice is either an accessory or an abettor. The accessory aids a criminal prior to the crime, whereas the abettor aids the offender during the crime itself."

I recall when Woody declared that no person who earns less than $1 million qualifies to be a MIW Minister because he is "mediocre". It clearly shows that the "right" candidate in the Govt's mind is a person who wants to "serve" purely for the obscene wages on offer.
