I found fruits imported from Mexico, Spain, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Turkey are very sweet…so I stop buying Aussie fruits, they seem low in quality and also not cheap.

The longer you live there the narrower your view becomes as you have no exposure to fruits from other countries and always think Aussie fruits are the best.  Rotfl

Most of the fruits are imported, last time from Maia, China,Thailand, Australia and NZ now from all over the world from Northeast Asia to Southern Africa to Southern Europe North America to South America… in Australia most of the fruits are locally grown from Queensland and NZ, limited choice. Some smart Alec plant fruits like grapes and strawberry in Singapore. Once they first taste their own produce, they will throw it away and chop down the plants.
