The trade war will harm the economy of not only China and US but will also affect many other countries that have businesses.  It is just  matter of how bad is one economy compare to the other.  As the trade war drags,  cracks will start to form in the economy.  How good and bad is the economy will depend on who is reporting.  This is especially so when China has been controlling and censoring the Chinese news media.  Here is one from US website talking about how bad is happening in China.  Quite sure some will say this news are from Farungong.
