How come the article must use old picture of 2022? Tried to read the name of the machine but found this old pic that looks the same

Talk so much start having real production numbers than credible.
Right now SMIC yield for Huawei mate CPU which is 2 generations behind is low and that costs them alot to produce ....

Anyway I believe the "chip war" is a red herring. It is to deliberately drive China to pour money to catch up with technology that already exists. China will push companies to use local chinese fabs which are less efficient and Amefican firms will have more capacity at TSMC to produce advanced chips much more cheaply.
Already the latest Huawei phone price shoot up until $2800 due to high cost of production ...
