Intel damn suay.  They invested heavily in China.  Only recently,  put in another 300 million in Chengdu factory.  Now the US administration doesn't trust to give them any money from the Chip Fund until lately.  Likely many consumers distance themselves from them to avoid political backlash.  On the other hand,  China exercised anti-trust and blocked their deal to buy Tower Semiconductor, causing them to lose USD 350 million in cancellation fees to the Israeli owner for nothing.  Quite sure, the Chinese customers also boycotted them. How not to lose money?

In the deal to buy Israel’s Tower Semiconductor, he got played out. He tried hard and went to China many times and could not get Chinese Government’s approval in time. Intel paid the Israelis USD 350 million cancellation charge. Intel is a big investor in China. The Chinese rule required them to get approval for any decision tt might affect their investment in China.
