If he really needs to rely on money just to live , he already given up on politics. Believe he is also trying to prepare some platform of self sufficient support to his wife and children if one day he is gone.When he is in politics at least he didn't neglect his role as a husband and father to his children.
Opening the restaurant selling affordable price also an sense of social responsibility towards the society while he still can since he walk his talk as a politician .
