Driver allegedly incurs S$297 idle fee from charging station, fell asleep at home

During the last CNY, an EV owner at my condo left his vehicle at the charging station for 2 days, probably because he didn't leave home, and simply forgot or didn't bother about hogging the lot in the absence of an idle fee.

They thought like Normal carpark pay one time fee is it.
EV charging is charge base how long you park while charging your car battery. Obviously the longer you park , the more charges rah.
Is Car owner himself to blame.

If you charge at a shopping centre car park and leave it idle, car parking fee will incur after fully charged.

I don't drive even own Class 3 but I think surely there is an alert send to your phone telling you the car is fully charged thus you will go drive away if never obviously will continue to charge you despite you already fully charged your car battery. Good is like this , other EV car owners can charge their car battery as other users will drive off once fully charged.

EV owners will usually be informed of charging completion via the service provider's mobile app.
And there will be penalty fee for leaving the vehicle at the charging slot after certain grace period after charging.
I am curious did the owner read the T&C ?
