Tonight matches

Leicester vs Arsenal
Hope Leicester win. I think Arsenal winning streak will end tonight.

Tottenham vs MU
These two inconsistent teams.  Both will want to win convincingy tonight. Hard to say which team will win.

Arsenal leading 2-0 at Leicester. The Arsenal team changed quite a lot since I last saw them play. Lots of exciting young players e.g. Smith-Rowe, Ramsdale. Even the Jap defender Tomiyasu is quite good...I didn't know he joined Arsenal.

Arsenal on a winning streak... they r stringing all the right notes... Ramsdale save of the season? Rowe certainly on a roll... perhaps a breakout star...
Surprise Man C lost... by two goals!
Liverpool held to a draw

Cool n classy goal by Cavani!  2 goals up against Spurs.
That should b the way Cr7 n Bruno combined to create chances...
A well taken earlier strike by CR7...

Great goal by Rashy... a well justified sub with CR7? 3 kosong...

Will this match serves only as a redemption or a run of winning games to follow?

Ole finally started with CR and EC together. All strikers on song, CR EC and MR. Midfield Fred tends to be the weak link. At least now Varane is back in the lineup . Finally kept a clean sheet in an away win. Clapping

Arsenal is sure back on track.  Arteta must be smiling from ear to ear after this win. He managed to revamp his team into a formidable side. New bloods rejuvenated the team. No more critics of him. Only pats on the back all round.

As for MC its not the first time they lost to a much weaker team.

A bold move to start with three defenders  varane Shaw n wan considering Son is a pacy n tricky striker... but with Fred n Scott they r protected n wing backs can launch n complement d attacks...

Hopefully with their form back they can take some points from the top three... then it would b interesting in the race else boring with three horse race

Yup! Agree with u. And with MU coming back to winning ways with CR partnering Cavani upfront, competition will be fierce for the top 4 position. Liverpool, MC, and Chelsea are very strong teams. MU, Arsenal, Leicester and West Ham will posed a strong challenge for the Epl title. I sensed that Spurs seems to be fading away. Perhaps its the lack of goals scored in their matches. Son and Kane seems not to be scoring like before. Maybe they take time to recover like Arsenal and MU.

Tonight match at 12.30am. West Ham take on Aston Villa.  West Ham should win this match easily. But  ball is round anything cld happen. AV suddenly kee siow in scoring mood. This unlikely anyway.

Big win for West Ham in early morning match against Aston Villa. FT score  : 1-4 West Ham.
With this win West Ham is now in 4th position.

Next match tomorrow morning at 4.00am Wolves take on Everton. Everton last match -  lost unexpectedly to Watford  5-2. Everton will need to redeem the loss. Expect high score match. Both will need to not only win the match but with high score  to get back in contention for the top 4 positions.

Spurs just sacked Nuno. His team selection and tactics have been really bad, but he should have been given more time.

Atalanta 2 Man U 2

CR7 salvaged an away draw which saw a dramatic late volley goal... however a gifted goal by DDG... standard was appalling which a top class gk like him should had stopped...
An earlier flow of exchanges between Bruno n him set up a beautiful equaliser
But the result is being dampened by injury to Varane n a glaring weak point is Maguire... but think Ole would not dare to drop him...
Unfortunate for Greenwood to hit the bar...

With this away trip the next premier league game is a must win... usually they don't perform well after an away champ leag game  Undecided

Twice they were down, twice they recovered.  Good comeback.

Next match against MC will be tough.

Agreed, looks like MC is more consistent, and Mu will find it difficult to beat Mc, but I still hope MU to win.

Match @ Old Trafford... advantage would b d 'twelve' player but Man C would b making up for lost ground after last game...already Pep began his pep talk... taking off the heat from his players n shifted d focus to CR7...
Where is Sancho? Will he play in second half... class is permanent form is temporary? He needs to set The Theatre of Dreams alight else he will be keeping every fans dreaming of the EPL title... keke...

In the UEFA Europe League EPL teams are performing well.

2 EPL teams will be competing against their opponent in the return match today.

1. Genk vs West Ham  - 1.45am.
In the 1st match West Ham won by 3-0.
West Ham should have no problem in the return match

2. Leicester City vs Spartak Moscow.
LC has taken the 1st leg winning 4-3.
All 4 goals scored by P.Daka. a new signing in July 2021.  Co-incidentally, P. Daka also scored a goal in injury times in the 4-2 thrashing of MU match. He came in as a subs in the 73' . Since then MU defence was in disarray. 4 goals was scored in the last 13' , 3 for LC and 1 for MU. A prolific scorer he is.

In the return leg later today at 4pm, my take is that the  match will be hard fought. Spartak Moscow is a formidable side as can be seen from the 1st leg match.
They fought to the last min.  50/50 chance for both side.

It would be nice if Ole cab start with Cavani and Ronaldo up front. Middle should start with Bruno, Sancho, VDBeek, backline Shaw, maguire, lindelof, Bailey and Bissaka. Since Varane and Pogba are unavailable. My opinion only. Rashford and Greenwood , Mata , Matic as subs .

Bailey is tough tackling n no nonsense defender but he a bit mentally unstable... he can warrant a straight red if he doesn't have self control... lindelof is sometime jekyll n Hyde... hope he plays a good game in this Derby... I would opt for Telles to replace Shaw... somehow he has tapered off... Telles much more experienced
Man U midfielders need to turn up in the middle of the park ... its a home match... dun want to c another humiliating match

Man U 0 Man C 2

Own goal by Bailey...
The Citizens have the bragging rights n it will b awful to stomach for Man U fans
They were simply overwhelmed by Peps men...
Again Maguire n Shaw r d weak link... Man U do not have quality defenders like Dias... when kompany left they fixed their defence... now Varane is out for almost a month... lucky its international break...
Man C midfield a class above Man U... they controlled d match didn't they? Cut off supply to CR7 n chances of winning is high...
Dun no y Rashy n Telles were on d bench... they should have started...
Now is four leag matches lost n its not even Dec  Rolleyes
Four points out of possible twelve simply not acceptable by Man U standard

Maguire is not what he was after he came back from injury. Shaw is over rated. He plays as if he's a forward, hardly tracks back to defend.
Baily is temperamental playing hot and cold.
I don't know why Ole doesn't play VD Beek in midfield. He should have started Rashford instead of reserve.
Greenwood is a very selfish player. Always trying solo to go for goal by himself. Also doesn't track back to defend.
Opposition teams strangle MU midfield they will win games. My opinion.

Agreed. Dictate their midfield n Man U is beatable... that's what Man C strategy... Man U 352 system tried to choke Man C midfield of 433 but they were still able to attack at will... y because Man U midfield does not struck fear anymore... teams can just double their work rate n they can take points from Man U...
At best now Man U is a mid table team... when other teams like Arsenal play they would have push Man U down d table...

Oh my! What a horrible performance by MU . MC players were all over them. They were under constant pressures, unable to break out of the seized. They were like Santa Clause generously giving away corner kicks to MC  in the 1H. The 2nd goal was a product of the numerous corner kicks. The MU goalkeeper were overworked while MC GKP was having a very easy time throughout the 1st half. Any break were easily cut off. Midfield were non-existent. No play-maker. No counter attacks. No threats to MC.  The 2nd half was no better. In short, watching this match as a MU fan was a torture.

That's why I switched off after the first goal by City though I'm a MU supporter.

Ole got to go. This is as far as he can get the MU players to go. MU has got to have a manager to take them up to higher levels.
