If the kumgong bidder wants to bid $2.26m, the govt can't say no or say take only half only, correct? KF needs to ask better questions.

Govt can put a cap but they don't want. Why? Becuz who don't like more monies correct? But some stuff cannot be measured all in terms of monies. That is why Spore is slowly getting devoid of emotions. We now think and act like govt all talk monies. No monies F off!

This is the very culture of passing down the costs to end consumers and it backfires really bad! Just vote them out.
