India and China are now helping the west to prevent the inevitable constant oil prices rise
when Russian tanker fleet and onshore storage are all filled up. She will then has to shutdown productions.
“shutting in” wells damages their long-term ability to produce: It’s not easy, in other words, to turn a well off and on without permanently hurting it.

ST wouldn't have it as a "RAGING" debate online for nothing

The word is emotionally loaded and was carefully chosen from a number of choices to reflect that the ground is shaking hard

Singaporeans are not insular or apathetic towards GLOBAL events especially one where we are sucked in

With 9 Asean countries still trading with Russia, is  making Singapore imposed sanction a totally rubbish.

Singapore standing alone in the region is ridiculous and ineffective.

In reality,  it's a mockery.

The poll says "6 out of 10" support the sanctions

This poll results come in timely to sooth things

But looking at this forum of about 100 users, the debate rages on. People are divided in opinion.

Ukraine President Zelenskyy is eveready to meet Putin's demands and once, their peace settlement is accepted and signed...

Singapore will withdraw deeper into her hermit crab shell.
Returning to normality with Russia is impossible.
