Often I pity the Europeans for being forced to make political decisions on digital infrastructure advances....like replacing cost-effective Huawei solutions with most expensive and slower production 5G alternatives ...Today it seems more Europeans gov realise that decision has backfired.

Not now but it will be an advantage when IoT in full swing. Even Tesla's AI chips still using 4G but they might have to use 5G or even 6G in the future when the cars really need lot of real-time information in the future,

You read correctly? It is not used in Tesla cars. Google lah. The Chinese car manufacturers can always claim that they used 5G.

Here is one reality check about real-world 5G application in both auto and manufacturing for your breakfast reading today....
Huawei has licensed technology to top automakers including Mercedes Benz, Audi, BMW and Porsche as the Chinese tech company seeks to turn its trove of patents into a new revenue source amid a U.S. clampdown on its core businesses. The patent licensing agreements, reached during the second half of 2022, mean Huawei technologies will be used in 15 million of the 70 million cars produced globally each year, Alan Fan, global head of Huawei's Intellectual Property Department, told Nikkei Asia.

Question readers need to ask - Why is Ericsson firing 1,200 of its staff when 5G is supposed to be a next driver of revolution in industry ?
Answer - USA. The Swedish coy explains...
Telecom giant Ericsson on Monday 25 Mar 2024 said it is reducing its headcount in Sweden as part of a global initiative to improve its cost position in the wake of a drop in sales and profits. A slowdown in 5G investments predominantly in North America was a primary driver for Ericsson’s big drop in full year 2023 margins, the company said in January.

Just days after Ericsson layoff 1,200 of its staff, the teleco equipment maker announced the Swedish coy has met order by the US gov which demands foreign coy to meet
compliance and controls as demanded by 2019 DOJ settlement to open all Ericsson records, employee info, to US's Dept of Justice monitoring.
Now I can see why the Swedes so easily kenna poke deep deep until actually losing busiiness in America...
