#1

In the end, Canada refuses to oblige, and the president announces on television that the government of Canada “is hereby dissolved,” and provinces will join the union. The novel ends with the president’s announcement that U.S. troops are landing in Canada’s airports and ordering Canadian soldiers to lay down their arms.

Canada was loyal to the Queens or Kings, and now it has to be a Yes man to the new King called Trump.

when canada was formed the difference between us and canada not that much differnt. so good to have an independent country.

now that usa has grow so much after WWII canada was left behind,

if combine canadian can go get higher pay jobs in us without visa etc. why stopping it?

only politician who want a country to be under their controlled.

old people who no need to work sure opposed.

if they really do a country vote . it will show if better jobs opportunities. is an attractive enough pull factors.

if trump make offer to singapore. i also said take it. we are small . although rich but difficult to survive in long run. usa big and powerful although bankrupt. if want singapore as additional state like hawaii it will still be better for us.
long term we survive already. still same voting system. no need to worry if asset will be nationalised.
