Sunday 6 Aug 2023 about 9am++, i walked  / crossed  from the back lane to the other side of Petain Rd.  (red arrrow)
There was a TP cop standing there

he told me in no uncertain terms that i should cross at the traffic lights 
OK so i was jay walking and if he gave me a summons, no arguments from me

after  breakfast wallk back and now 2 TP standing at the traffic lights

i was on the oppsite traffic light waiting to cross

while waiting for green  man,  one boomer cyclist ran the red light 
and another cyclist rode against the flow of traffic and stop behind the 2 TP

the TP guys see or not... but nothing happened

after i crossed told them that i accept i was wrong and jay walking but if you standing here now, then the traffic laws etc should apply equally to all...

its not the jay walking i have a problem with
i was worng. period

but if they standing there then their eye  should see that the law applies to ALL

that area, the more PRESSING issue is vehicles exiting Somme Rd and turning RIGHT into Petain Rd thereby going AGASINGT FLOW OF TRAFFIC...

that one see no action from authorities.....

yet sunday AM, can come and check for Jay walking
