A man who tied up his ex-partner and poured boiling water over her in a “horrific and pre-meditated” attack has been jailed for six years.

Sam Wild, 38, took his victim to a hotel after having drinks together in Sheffield and tricked her into taking her clothes off.

The unnamed woman told police she believed Wild, also known as Sam Barlow, wanted to have sex with her and was too scared to refuse.

He then carried on the pretence and tied her up before pouring boiling water over her face and body, leaving her scarred for life.

According to a certain religion, the explanation would be that this woman did the same thing to someone in a previous lifetime.  This incident is merely a discharging of a karmic debt, one which must happen someday or else she would carry the debt for an indefinite period of time.

Based on such explanations, all the bad things which happen/happened to people like Sentinel and lvlrsSTL are 活该. 

Likewise, all those good things which had happened to me are what people call karmic rewards, which are well deserved.  For the record, more such rewards are coming my way as I keep on accumulating them by helping those who are poor, weak and downtrodden.
