I use $1 screen protector purchase online.
I suspect it is much less hard and tough compared with the actual phone screen.
A few times I dropped my phone and screen protector cracked and I replaced it.
But i think without the protector my screen would have also survived.
Once i bought a privacy screen protector...to my horror my on screen finger print reader stop working ....wasted my $$.

Pls use a screen protector. This money is only very small but it has saved my screen from damage many times.

it is a small insurance to protect yr screen
replacement of screen cost >5x the protector
