Singapore extends MAS chief Menon’s term for up to two years

SINGAPORE, May 13 (Bloomberg): Singapore extended the term of its central bank chief Ravi Menon by up to two years.

The re-appointment of Menon, 59, is valid until May 31, 2025 or his retirement from the public service, whichever is earlier, the Monetary Authority of Singapore said in a statement Friday.

no special restriction, minority sure lost the presidential election.
in fact without grc how many minority can become mp. many more years before singapore become singapore race without thinking of other race differences. we are nearer then 10 years ago still some many years to go.
